Eye Shadow: Applying and Blending Tips

I've been gone for too long and as a come back post, I'll share with you these awesome makeup tutorial photos I found in Google. I used to see these pictures in Facebook and they never fail to amaze me! As I've told you before, I am not a makeup junkie but I am still curious about it. 

I find it easier to learn how to apply eye shadows using visual images/videos rather than reading HOW-TOs in blogs and books. I know you're excited as much as I am so..... here they are!

 I'm a fan of gold, tan and bronzes - and I really really love this combination! I find it simple yet elegant.

A Shoe Story: Must-Have Shoes and How to Wear Them

When I was young, or should I say younger, I thought that stilettos are for upper class women only. I saw them in movies attending parties wearing cocktail dresses and all glammed up with classy jewelry and metallic sandals or pumps. I admire how they carry themselves wearing those shoes. They look oh-so-elegant!

Now, here I am in one of the world's fashion capital - Milan. I know I'm not a fashion guru or a fashion stylist, just a self-proclaimed fashionista haha, but I still want to look stylish whenever I roam around the city.  

But how can I? if I only have 2 sneakers and a red stilettos. I regret not investing in shoes. I admit I am not a shoe-lover and I am a certified 'kuripot' *laugh* I may have a lot of clothes but I can't wear some of them simply because I don't have the right shoes to pair with them. My options are pretty much limited to Brown Pony sneakers, White Converse sneakers and Red stilettos. I can wear them as much as I wanted but hey! It's kinda boring to wear the same shoes over and over again.  :(

So before you get into this horrible situation, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.. Listen to me now. Okay?

What I Wore: iBlog: 8th Philippine Blogging Summit

iBlog was held last May 25 and 26, 2012 at the Malcolm Theater, UP College of Law, UP Diliman, Quezon City from 8 am to 5 pm.  It was a two-day seminar for bloggers and blog enthusiasts, organized by the University of the Philippines Internet and Society Program of the UP College of Law.


This was the first time I attended iBlog and I wasn't sure what to wear. I'm not sure if there's any dress code, so I decided to wear something casual. I know that this event is not entirely formal but I still have to be presentable..

What I Wore: Bloggers United

PS. I know it's very late but I still want to post my outfits from the events I've attended.  :)

Bloggers United was held last June 2, 2012 at Grand Events Place , Makati. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend due to heavy rain. I was all dressed up and readyt to go when the rain poured heavily.

For those who aren't familiar with Bloggers United..

We are Bloggers United, a team of bloggers dedicated to delivering breakthroughs in the metro’s blogging community. We are in an effort to promote camaraderie in the blogosphere, pool together bloggers and really turn it into a “community” by creating events and productions geared towards the push for blogging’s CSR side – community (not corporate) social responsibility through the use of online media. 

We started as a group of fashion bloggers and hopefully, we will be able to extend our scope and influence to other niches as well. Meanwhile, this site is where we post all the recent updates about Bloggers United and the latest on fashion, lifestyle and social media.

Must - Try Summer Outfits

" For them, SUN is GOLD." - That's what my aunt always tells me whenever I ask her why Italians love summer. Today is sooo HOT!  It's a good time to go to beaches, roam around Milan, go out-of-town and of course, go Shopping - wee! It's SALDI month!

I find it easier to dress up and play with clothes during summer than in winter,spring and fall. You can wear maxi dresses and/or skirts. If you want, a comfortable tank top and shorts and pair it with wedges or flats. Now, the most-seen outfits are white dresses, floral maxi dresses and pastels.
